Spherefix SP30 Series Earns NGS Antenna Certification
09 December 2025
Guangzhou, 2 Nov 2025 – Spherefix shares exciting news. Its SP30, SP30SE and SP30Pro GNSS receivers have passed U.S. National Geodetic Survey (NGS) antenna calibration. Notably, this listing lets the whole series work on federal, state and private jobs. It’s usable across North America, Oceania and Latin America—where NGS phase-center values are required.
Furthermore, all three receivers use the same 1408-channel engine. It tracks GPS, BDS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, SBAS and NavIC. The receivers deliver RTK performance of ±(8 mm + 1 ppm) horizontal. They also hit ±(15 mm + 1 ppm) vertical accuracy. Tilt compensation stays within 2 cm up to a 60° angle. A 10000 mAh internal battery powers rover operation for over 24 hours. What’s more, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 5 W UHF radio make base-rover links flexible.

SP30SE – the Long-Range Base Station Expert
The SP30SE weighs just 1 kg and suits base station work perfectly. Its 5 W LoRa radio covers 410-470 MHz, with selectable 9600 or 19200 bps. It has factory tests proving a 16 km communication range. In fact, it supports full protocols like TrimTalk, South, TRANSEOT, TrimMark3. One SP30SE base can feed any rover—new or existing. This makes it the easiest way to add centimeter-level corrections to mixed fleets.
SP30 – the “See-Measure” Rover
The standard SP30 also weighs 1 kg and comes with a 5 W radio. Additionally, it adds a millimeter-level laser rangefinder and a 1/3-inch aiming camera. When the pole tip can’t reach a corner, gutter or busy road, the operator taps Laser Survey. The laser returns the offset, and the IMU supplies the vector. The software then computes the surveyed point with RTK-class accuracy.
SP30Pro – the AR Imaging Workstation
The SP30Pro comes with two high-performance cameras for dual functionality. Also, one is a 1/2.6-inch wide-angle unit for photogrammetry. The other is an ultra-wide module for AR stakeout. Design points overlay on the live scene, so the rod-person walks straight to the exact spot. Best of all, the high-precision IMU keeps the AR icon within certified RTK tolerance.
Finally, the SP30 series has an IP68 rating and works in temperatures from –20 °C to +60 °C. Spherefix and its global partners sell the SP30 series right now.
