Arya Khan Afghan Road Construction Logistic & Engineering Company (AKARCL) won the project’s feasibility study, detailed survey and design deal. Moreover, the firm’s survey crew pairs Spherefix multi-frequency receivers with drones. They collect topographic data for the railway. بالإضافة إلى ذلك, a base station sends RTK corrections to both the drone and handheld rovers. This lets the team achieve centimetre-level positioning for their ground-control network.
AKARCL’s survey manager shared positive feedback. The receivers kept signal lock in the open desert between Herat and Kandahar. في الواقع, they cut the time needed to set up each control point. Old optical tools took much longer by comparison. علاوة على ذلك, the collected data will directly support the corridor’s final alignment and earthwork calculations.
Since launching, Spherefix GNSS receivers have reached over 50 countries and regions. They serve government mapping agencies, engineering consultancies and construction contractors alike. Equally important, users often praise their fast signal lock speed. They also highlight strong anti-interference ability and easy-to-use workflow. Above all, the Afghan railway project is just the latest success story. We’ve received a growing stream of positive feedback from survey teams worldwide.
