Spherefix SP30 Series Receives NGS Antenna Certification

09 December 2025

Guangzhou, 2 Nov 2025 – Spherefix confirms that its SP30, SP30SE and SP30Pro GNSS receivers have passed the U.S. National Geodetic Survey (NGS) antenna calibration. The listing allows the entire family to be used on federal, state and private jobs throughout North America, Oceania and Latin America where NGS phase-center values are mandatory.

All three receivers share the same 1408-channel engine, tracking GPS, BDS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, SBAS and NavIC. RTK performance is quoted at ±(8 mm + 1 ppm) horizontal and ±(15 mm + 1 ppm) vertical, with tilt compensation staying within 2 cm up to 60°. A 10 000 mAh internal battery gives more than 24 h rover operation, while 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 5 W UHF radio keep base-rover links flexible.

SP30SE – the long-range base specialist

Weighing only 1 kg, the SP30SE is built for base work. Its 5 W LoRa radio covers 410-470 MHz at selectable 9600 or 19200 bps and is factory-tested to 16 km range. Full-protocol support (such as TrimTalk, South, TRANSEOT, TrimMark3) lets one SP30SE base feed any rover, new or existing, making it the easiest way to add centimetre-level corrections to mixed fleets.

SP30 – the “see-measure” rover

The standard SP30 keeps the 1 kg chassis and 5 W radio but adds a millimetre-level laser rangefinder and a 1/3-inch aiming camera. When the pole tip can’t reach a corner, a gutter or a busy road, the operator taps the Laser Survey; the laser returns the offset, the IMU supplies the vector, and the software computes the surveyed point with RTK-class accuracy.

SP30Pro – the AR imaging workstation

The SP30Pro carries two cameras: a 1/2.6-inch wide-angle unit for photogrammetry and a second ultra-wide module for augmented-reality stakeout. Design points are overlaid on the live scene so the rod-person walks directly to the exact location. The same high-precision IMU guarantees that the AR icon stays within the certified RTK tolerance.

Rated IP68 and –20 °C to +60 °C, the SP30 series is on sale immediately through Spherefix and its global partners.
